There is actually one member that put some fogs on his Nismo front end. He mounted them to the middle on each side of the openings. Sorry I don't remember his name/handle.

He had them mounted like this....I think it would look better if they go all the way to the outside of the opening.

(G35PAPA) thanks for the reply. you have just the car I'm looking to purchase. I either want white or black but MAN that car would be hot with that front bumper. I guess I'll have to ether find a bumper that has the cutouts for the lights or FIND someone who can modify an existing one to look like the one in the pics I posted.

No problem
Like I said before....you will have to have someone modify any bumper you purchase. No one makes a bumper with cutouts ready for those lights...trust me

How much of a difference is the front of a coupe than a sedan for the impul front bumper and can that bumper be modified to fit a sedan?

The lights, grill and even width are all different on the coupes.

If you have enough money, you can make anything fit. It will probably have to be cut up and put back together.

probably not worth it for the most part but it goes back to why i started this tread. does anyone one know of anyone company coming out with a front bumper that has driving/fog lights? does anyone one besides me think the g would be pretty nice with that look?

when i was researching these cars prior to purchase, it was often noted that the foglights are integrated into the headlight assembly, and after a weekend of driving my new g35 (2003), i have to say, that there is indeed a switch on the stalk for foglights, and they do indeed work.

as for foglights in general, it's more the location that's important, than colour. they are generally lower, so as to reflect back less at the driver (why you don't use your highbeams in fog, they reflect right back in your eyes).

Good info...... I'm doing my "research" on this car for sure before purchase. I have the bug to "tinker" so I'm looking at the few things that I dont like about the sedan OTHER than not being able to get a X with
6MT What I'm finding is that this is just something I may "fix" on my own for fun or just let it be. Like I said before, I was curious because the couple pics I've seen with the fogs on the bumper are sexy as heck.

How do you like the white color? I am debating between white or graphite.

2 things on this one...we have fog lights integrated into the headlights in our cars...rather than sitting low in the bumper. which i am torn on because I get high beamed all the time since people think i am running brights!

also on the color of the light. I read an article in a medical journal discussing the color of light primarily in relation to HID and road glare. It found that our eyes were more adept to yellower lights(ie sunlight/firelight/candle light). That the whiter and bluer lights of HID were not as well managed by the actual receptors. I believe the responce to the light was referred to as "flairing".

so in fact yellow may be prefferable to ease the function of the eye in an already strained environment with limited visibility. It may not be as related to how the light responds to the environment, but in fact how the eye responds to the light.

OR you could just use enough glue and rivets and start from the outside and work in so it came to a point...that would be cool! or work from the inside out and let it stick out on the sides...WIDEBODY baby!

GO RICE!

NOOOOOOOOO rice please. lol I had a deal on a 04 X but did not pull the trigger because they wont give me enough on my trade in (truck) so I may have to hold off and sell the truck out right since I dont want two car notes.

I'm still looking at this issue because I STILL think the sedan would be sexier with the driving lights down low AND the yellow color my not be a bad idea.

You mean IP (Ivory Pearl)

Love it. I like how it brings out the lines of the car. I have always like "white" colored cars and will prob always stick to that color...for now at least.

As for the driving lights. Still something I will be doing at some point. Hopefully before Xmas
