Anyone know of any new rear spoilers available for the Sedan?

I would check www.spoilerdepot.com. I got a factory-like one there, and it was excellent.

Re: New sedan rear spoiler

I saw a guy that took the lip spoiler off of an M3 and put it on a sedan. Looked real good.

Re: New sedan rear spoiler

I really like the M3 lip spoiler on the Sedan. A couple of guys on this forum have posted pics. The only problem is no one has provide good information about which M3 lip spoiler they have and where they got it from. There are many replicas out there.

I think the OEM spoiler is beautiful, it adds so much to the backend of the G sedan

here are some pics of mine: http://www.imagestation.com/album/in...83&mode=&idx=3

I got a friend in Japan to get this for me. BTW, I'm going to sell my sedan so if the buyer doesn't want the spoiler, I can take it off and sell it to someone if they're interested. The color is DP but the spoiler has a little more silver in it so it's not a perfect match. You could always paint it again also.

Re: New sedan rear spoiler

thanks dholly for getting it on here. I could never figure out how to do it.

Anyway, They look identical. I can't say with any certainty but the supplier could be the same. Again, I got mine from Japan but they look exactly the same. I got lucky because mine had the perfect bend to it so no worries about cracking paint. I think there was a thread about this a long time ago. Someone had gotten an M3 type spoiler but it didn't have the right bend to it so he didn't put it on because his painter thought it might crack. Hope this helps.

Re: New sedan rear spoiler

That's the closest I've come from picture research. IMO, it's a good looking small rear lip spoiler - lays close to the surface, doesn't look too "bolt-on". And, for only $113, I think ranthony should give it a try and let everybody know how it goes!

Re: New sedan rear spoiler

Anyone actually know where to get the ones that fit? The M3 style link above looks close, but will it really fit without cracking?

Re: New sedan rear spoiler

This is exactly what has happened in the past, many posts and some have the spoiler already but cannot not provide the exact info on what and where to purchase. It's a guessing game. One of us should bite the bullet and try one. From what I understand, the poly it's made from is very flexible so cracking or splitting would be hard to do. Just need to find a place that would be willing to expect returns.

Re: New sedan rear spoiler

SpoilerDepot.com has the factory spoiler as well as a lip spoiler that kind of looks like the M3's.

Re: New sedan rear spoiler

I think the concerns were more about the paint (rather than the actual spoiler) cracking because you have to bend the M3 lip spoiler ever so slightly in order for it to follow the edge of the G35 trunk lid correctly. But I also was told by a paint shop that if you used the proper paint flex conditioners and carefully and slowly bent the spoiler at 70 degreesF or higher in the day or so after it was painted, paint cracking *should* not be an issue given the very small amount of bend. Perhaps too, it could be "pre-bent" somehow prior to painting?
