Looking to drop my car

I might pickup a pair of Tein H's for my Sedan... i have some questions. I believe my car is not the sports version, and someone told me that im going to need better shocks.. is this the case? What else would i need besides the springs to get a nice drop and be safe.

well you don't NEED better shocks, but the non sports will wear out a lot faster with those springs. Just save up and get coilovers

or you could just put in a full z suspension (z springs + z shocks) and save a lot of money and get around the same drop as the tein h's i believe

If im not wrong they are revised and you would need shocks.ou can ride on your stock for awhile before you get new shocks. but I think you should keep an eye out for the hole setup.

SHOCKS AND SPRINGS MY FRIEND!!! dont mix unrevised shocks with revised springs...the spring rates dont match up and shocks will wear out faster. I would suggest going with Z springs and shocks that comes together as a set and no mix and match!

Also make sure that the front 350z spring has the grey rubber covers on them springs last a long time so as long as that rubber cover isn't worn off or loose you'll be fine now shocks are a different story the least about of miles the betta.

I only mention this because someone that already has a sport suspension G35 wouldn't need the 350z shocks so they could go for unrevised springs with higher mileage on them.

Tein Basic coilover setup, best way to go. I'm pissed cuz I was going to buy a set until I was told I couldn't have them on my AWD 35x. So I'll continue shopping.

I ran the H&R springs with my oem sport struts for over a year and they worked ok. It was not until I got my Tein CS coilovers that I found out how much better matched sets perform.

I have the unrevised 350z springs with sports shocks. I love the drop, and the seemingly more aggressive ride. I have some 06 sport springs with about 3500 miles on them for sale if you want them. (my car only has 4600 miles to date).
