Welcome to the forum!

Virtually all RDs for less than $300 will be similar in performance, so buy the one that you find cheapest.

If you have enough, spend a bit more for either a Passport 8500 or IMO better yet, a Valentine One. Do a search on these for some feedback.

Yeah, good idea staying away from the neon.

I think the best and cheapest mods (and thus some of the first) should be the drilled aluminum pedals and the 350 tube. Looks like you also already have the clear corners.

Welcome and have fun! This is the best forum around and there's lots of good info here from a great group of owners.

Motor Trend did a full article in this month's magazine (or on the web) on Radar detetctors. I use a Passport 8500, but beltronic is a lot cheaper and offers similar performance, for the big bucks go for the V1.

Re: ** New to G35 Driver **

Iv'e got the Beltronics 930 paid around $150. There is a website i think it is radartest.com where they did a comparison between 3 or 4 different brands under $200 and the Bel was the best in thier opinion.

Hope that helps.

Re: ** New to G35 Driver **

If you use the Nissan supplied ones (<a href="http://www.infinitiwholesaleparts.com/en_US/f_MiscPage_1.chtml">http://www.infinitiwholesaleparts.co...scPage_1.chtml</a>) then there is no drilling and you can swap back and forth if needed. That same site has a link to instructions, but you can also do a search here. A bit of a pain, but it can be done twice if needed.
