Just to let people know that my key chain from Infiniti fell apart the other day. The end that allows you to remove a set of keys quickly and easily fell off. Yes that is correct. The "hook" fell off of the body of the key chain and my keys fell to the floor. Luckily I was at home otherwise I could have lost all my keys. Looks like the hook was held on by a small screw. I guess I will have to use my Acura key chain. Still going strong after 6 years!

Mine doesn't have a "quick release" like that, besides, I only have my G key on my ring, always keep my car key by itself since the keys got the chip in them!

If you play around with it a bit, it can fall off-- there's actually a spring that pulls that thing back in, and if you over-stretch it, it'll fly out. I use it still, but I just have the Infiniti part on the keychain decoration-- not as the primary key-holder.

i have a tiffany's keychain that my sister gave me. (let me be clear, i dont shop at tiffany's). it works pretty well, and is classy at the same time. i also have the infiniti keychain, but engraved on the back of it is my dealer's name, i hate giving ppl free advertising, so i just dont use it.

Mine looks like that, but the thing in the middle screws tight instead of being spring loaded....

My only issue is with the pen they give you. IMHO, it sucks, always wanting to close as I write.

 

that's the one i've got. nothing really special about it. not even that easy to use since most keys don't fit over the spring loaded part.

aww crappo, you guys got a nice-looking key chain!! i got this oval shaped block with the infiniti logo engraved on one side, and the dealers name on the other.. i gotta go have a word with the dealership.. y'all are lucky

Really, you didn't get the key rings, they were in the "owners" kit, did you get that, with the owners manual and all, nice leather looking zipper case? The only thing I have with the dealers name on it is a license plate frame! Mine also is a screwdown type, not spring loaded! Yeah, the pen is a "self closing" one for sure!

I have the oval one too, Infiniti Logo on one side and nothing on the other. Not all that happy about the dealer sticker on the back or the license plate brackets, but the key chain is fine.

They must have changed the key ring for '04 I guess! I took my dealer license frame off because it covered too much of my plate, the sticker and my handicapped symbol! But, no decals or labels anywhere on the car!

I got the type that's not spring loaded and it works fine? As regards the licence plates, I took off the front plate completley, bought the chrome "infiniti" one for the back, chucked the free pen and bought a mont blanc rollerball...my wife thinks it came with the kit...Lol...
