G35X rear deck noise (another one)

G35X rear deck noise (another one)
I have an 06 35x that continues to develop interior noises (no surprise to many here). However there is one new one coming from the rear deck that is particularly bad.
I am wondering if this is one of the noises others have heard and might have an idea what it is.
I pride myself on finding and fixing these...but I have spend several rides in back holding various pieces of plastic and metal without finding it.
It appears it might be "inside" the decking, something mounted or something. It is not a metal-on-metal sound but a plastic on plastic? Plastic on metal? who knows.
Or as an alternative, is there a rear deck dis-assembly FAQ somewhere. Can't take it much longer!!
Thanks,
BJBBJB

Try this, you won't catch it from inside the car:

another one, looks more complicated
http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi.../ITB04-064.htm
and this one will take entire day!

I know it is for 2003, but trim is pretty much all the same. I am actually lucky with my 2003 despite stiffer suspension-interior is solid, but I will tear rear deck apart eventually, because I am planning audio upgrade.

obender66,
Thanks a lot. Looks like a nice weekend project!
The first one is pretty easy to try, I'll just take the rear parcel finisher out and see if it goes away.
Not sure if that second link was supposed to be different than the first, but the third gives me a good start on getting everything ripped apart if the easy fix does not work.

The only rattle that I have run into on my 06 x is the driver side vent right next to the door. The vent (which rotates up and down) will creak like mad when its warm. If you move it with your fingers side to side it creaks a lot more, but doesnt move.. its not loose.
Thats about all that bugs me on my car. Has anyone else had that and or fixed it?

Console, haven't had the vent rattle...
But I DID find the rattle posted above. Between
Obender66's post and my service manual I kept taking things apart in back until I found it!
Thanks a lot Obender66.
It was not fun...but in case this helps someone else, there are two support cross-braces behind the back seats. They are a bronze/unpainted metal color and they are attached to metal the color of the car on either side by two screws. Since they provide support for that back cavity, I had the noise over bumps, when turning, etc. Tightening the one really loose screw and the other three somewhat loose screws solved the problem. But it was hard to find as the noise came from "everywhere" in back.
Console asked about other noises??? Window/mouldings chirp over bumps (I know a lot of of the G35X's do it as my repair-loaners do it). Sunroof noise at times. Front door handle plastic insert vibrations if sound system is turned up on a song with a lot of bass.... That's enough.
One downside of fixing this really nasty one is it won't hide the other ones anymore!
