I know this was discussed before but I can't find the threads. The black paint is flaking off my mirror where you push the buttons for the garage door, etc. Will the dealer fix this under warranty? I don't think the paint should be flaking off a $ 35,000 car in two years, but has anyone had success getting them to replace it or fix it under warranty? Thanks.

 

I don't have any specific experience on this exact problem, but my opinion is that it should be covered under warranty. It is clearly a defective material issue that should not reasonably shown degradation in normal service. I assume that you are not regularly applying sand paper or mineral spirits to it, right?
