Anyone thinking of trading their G35 for the FX45?

I love my G, but ... I have to admit the thought has crossed my mind and I wondered how many others have similar thoughts. If so list you reasons for considering or list your reasons for not considering.

I plain love the way the FX45 looks and a V8 engine, the technology package, DVD (great for my kids.) But I know I would lose out with handling. The G35 handles so sweetly. Low center of gravity cannot be replaced.

Well I am leasing my car, there is good chance it may be my next car. So for now I will enjoy my beautiful G35 and worry about that in 33 months. By then the FX45 will really be refined. Who knows what Infiniti will be offering.

I would not consider it as a replacement. We thought about SUV's before we got the G35 and agreed we didn't need the space yet. It is nice and we are thinking about it as our second vehicle, with gas prices the way they are I'm having trouble justifying this 3.5 V6 much less a 4.5 V8.

I was kinda pondering that idea..but not the FX45, but the FX35...45 is too much of a gas guzzler too me...35 is about the right kind...

But most likely will not..love my G too much to give it up..

My mom thinks its cool lookin' and plans on getting a 45 after taxes. I think the other half needs to drive it first to make her mind up-she thinks the Murano is very cute. I am stuck in a war of cuteness

Pestilence, Your a funny guy! Okay you asked for it! One day just for fun i was browsing the Yugodriver.com and saw your name all over that website, I think it read "thinking of getting a turbo kit for my Yugo" LOL!!
Thank god you came to your senses and got a G35.

On the serious side, I hope your repairs don't set you back too much.
All the best

I hadn't considered a YUGO as competition for my G b4. I'll have to log on and see what I've been missing............
Sounds like a popular 'spot'.
