i like...they look different without looking odd or ricey...now if we all did it,it would suck.

 

Picked up 0.2 second in 1/4 mile run after the new mirror & an ECU reset with Battery disconnect, nothing else has been changed.

The M3 mirrors are definitely more aerodynamic & smaller, it feels like a lot less wind resistance compares with OEM sedan "big foot" mirror but I am still not sure it could make this much of a difference.

Could the better aerodynamic profile of mirrors actually contribute 0.2 second 1/4 mile gain?

Or could be the ECU reset be totally responsible?

or half & half? 0.1 second gain from each?

Anyone know how much gain one can expect from racing mirror's aerodynamics? They are usually smaller & more deep like the M3 Mirror, instead of wide & flat as the G Sedan OEM Mirror.
