Cheap ebay wheels... is it worth it?

I saw these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-8-...QQcmdZViewItem on ebay and love the way they look. I'd be very happy with them if they look as good as the pic and don't crack in half. Is there anything I need to worry about?
Thanks!

I'd worry simply for the fact that they are on ebay.

Yah, I definately have my concerns. I just know the wife would never let me spend the money for something nicer. There was once a time where I would never consider putting cheap knock offs on my car too. Now I'm just looking for an affordable upgrade in looks from my oem 17's.

Look on this board for some used oem 18/19. The wheels are almost $600 shipped, plus about another $400 shipped for tires...that's already $1000, which can buy you a nice set of used oem wheels that you don't have to worry about.

To the OP, I would not buy those wheels. You get what you pay for...

If you drive in snow, they would probably be a good affordable winter rim.

there nice looking, can't believe that price for 4 rims.

I was looking at some for about $300 apeice from American Racing.Thats what i usually do,just look,no funds....but someday.

Thanks for the input guys. I really like the look of these wheels. As long as they work and don't crack on a small pothole, I would be happy. Either way, I'm in no rush and I can't even afford to buy the tires for them right now lol.

I just lost a ebay auction for some nice oem 18's with good tires for $550 shipped. I much prefer the look of the replica's though.

i have bought cheap wheels from ebay before, for my old F150, i bought 22's with tires for 1100. I am happy to say they lasted for about 4yrs with no breakdown or quality issues, i think you jsut have to buy from reputable sellers on ebay...but i wouldnt know off the idea...especially for some of us on thighter budgets than others

just get the oem 18's from the '05-'06 sedan. they're exactly the same and you can find them fairly cheap.

Ive purchased all kinds of wheel replicas over the years and never had any trouble with them. To me a wheel is a wheel as long as you like the way it looks. IMO they look better than the factory wheel.

18 in is the same size as the factory sport upgrade for those wheels on the sedan but the one you chose there is a different color than the factory silver obviously. That wheel also has a better polished lip and better off set than the factory rim but the same nice center design.

think I'm going to get the hyper silver ones for my GF's silver sedan

These wheels have a lot more dish than OEM wheels. Would be interesting to see on a sedan. I think with a dish that deep, you would want 19's in a design like that.
