G35x Catalytic converters ??

Stopped by the dealer today to get pictures taken of my 4 doors ( lots of corosion ) they told me they need to replace the 4 doors under warranty BTW I have 155K on the clock ( g35X 2004 ). While I was there I've got a vibration checked by them that is comming out from underneath de car... They needs to replace the two cats and O2 sensors. too much corosion took place there and the cats heat shield a falling appart... Grrrrr..

They quoted me $ 3K plus labor to change the cats !!!!!!! what a steal !

Are the cats from G35 coupe and/or g35 sedan are the same ? I would prefer to buy them here from a member on this forum and not get ripped off by the dealer

cats from coupe, 350z and sedan have the same fitment. fyi, i would either look for low mileage oem cats for sale here or on my 350z or possibly look into some hfc which you can definetely find for cheaper than new oem parts.

+1

Either find a set of used oem ones on here or my350z or get a set of Crawford/Kinetix, etc.

Either way $3k is complete rape!

I don't see how they are doing the doors under warranty and not the emission related stuff also.

I'm pretty sure there was a recall/letter that went out re: rust perforation on our '04 doors that's covered....emissions/exhaust isn't covered because of his mileage and wear & tear (not covered).
