2003 g35 Sedan

I found another G35 that im interested in purchasing. Its a black 03, 62k and he is asking for 16500.
It has no mods, just an exhaust and clear bra...
Is this a good price?

I think it's a good price

I just paid $19,500 for my bone stock black 03 5AT with 50k miles on it. I have black leather, but no bose, HID, or spoiler.

put on a few mods in the first few weeks though

Sounds good. I just paid $18k for a 04 G35x with 51k. It is loaded except for nav. I get a lot of compliments on it and can't stop smiling.

Sounds like a good price.

These other posts sure make me feel good too since I paid $23k for mine, bone stock over two years ago with 32k.

I paid $17,995 for my 03.5. It had 31,000 miles on it, but is the non-sport edition (thank god since I hate the sport wheels on this model) and no GPS. Besides that it has everything including the aero wing and is in perfect condition inside and out.

Its interesting...I think these cars are great deals at these prices. I mean, in essence we get the same for performance as a brand new say Lexus IS350 for less. I was about to buy a brand new IS350 but was advised a used car was a more sound investment.

^ No doubt. After I totaled my Lexus ES last year, I knew a used G35 is worth the upgrade. I found a great deal on Autotrader and paid $16K for an '03.5 auto non-sport with the Premium package which had 41K miles at that time. It was still under basic warranty so within one month after the purchase, I took care of all warranty-related work including the fuel hose recall, inoperative CD player and other tidbits. Definitely the best purchase I've made to date

I wouldn't limit your search to your geographic area. I searched the entire country for mine and ended up with an 03 coupe (doggie door) 90K miles, 5AT w/nav, HID, premium, 18" aftermarket rims for $12K. I had to sink another $2K into new tires, fixing a couple small things, sports suspension (lightly used via these forums) and getting it 3000 miles back home, but definitely search everywhere, not just local dealerships.

Granted it had high miles for it's age, but I've had absolutely zero issues and had it since Feb.
