I didn't know that option was available. I may have to trade myself. My wife would just love that!

Re: Trade or not to Trade

UPDATE:

I went to Mission Viejo this weekend and talked to Kelvin Thai, he was really cool trying to help me out and all, but unfortunately I chickened out and couldn't justified the cost.

He was going to go 400 UNDER invoice for me and take my car in for 24K. The car I was looking at was a Black G35 Sedan with Sport Suspensions and the Premium Package. I would be paying 429 a month instead of my current 380, plus one extra year of payments. I wanted it so bad but I couldn't pull the trigger. My offer is still on the table, so I could come back.... oh my head hurts....

Well anyways if you guys want a deal go to Mission Viejo and talk to Kelvin Thai.

Re: Trade or not to Trade

One other option to consider, Find a used G with all the options you want. They are out there. I got a Black '03.5 Sedan AT w/ willow leather, bose system, sunroof, aero package, sport package, and winter package. The car had 14,500 miles on it and I paid $ 27,400 + tax. I think this is a reasonable price for a car that retailed around 34,000 if I remember correctly. This allowed me to get the car I wanted that otherwise would have been out of reach.
Check the internet, do some research, and I bet you could find dealership w/ a low mileage G that would be willling to trade on your car. Also, if you go this route, don't even bring your car to the dealership until the price is negotiated for the "new" used G. I priced out all the options that my car had on Edmunds, took 20% off and started negotiations from there. Hopefully this may give you another option-Good Luck!

Dont you guys envy those folks who truly dont care what they drive so long as it goes?

I tell you those folks that are content with what they have are truly wealthy in this world!
