Thumbs up Gonna Upgrade... Couple Questions...

So I'm tackling the project of installing the new set of cams that I got this weekend, and I figure while I'm in there, I'll replace the timing chain and tensioner. So I've got a few questions...

Is there an aftermarket chain or tensioner that I can get?

If not, is this a part that Infiniti will have on hand?

The car just clicked over to 100k miles. Is there anything else while I have most of the engine disassembled that I should replace, or check the condition of? The car runs great, I just figure since I'm in there...

The total list of things to be done is as follows:

New cams
Kinetix V+
Port matching intake and runners
Headers
Test pipes (down tubes, whatever you want to call them)
Y pipe

I think that's it right now. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm definitly planning on some downtime, and I've got an extra car, and a sport bike, so I'm not worried about commuting/etc. Just want to make sure I have all my bases covered before I start if ya know what I mean.

Are you talking about replacing the timing chain tensioner or the drive belt tensioner? I know when I did the timing belt on my sister-in-law's passat her dad decided to cheap out on just replacing the belt instead of getting a kit for the timing belt that included a new timing belt, new timing belt tensioner, hardware, etc. A year later the small misc. parts that were included in the kit that he decided not to buy went bad and caused an entirely new expensive problem. Buy a timing chain kit to replace all the little things.

I'm talking about replacing both the timing belt AND the tensioner. I figure while I'm in there, might as well do both. No reason to skimp and just do half of the job...

I don't believe that the chain should ever need replacing. I do agree to replace the tensioner though.
