Clear Headlight Turn Signals (not the corners!)

I recently purchased an '04 G35x and I'm loving it so far. My only problem is that I hate the way the color orange looks on any car, especially mine. Haha, nothing against the color or anything, but I've always felt orange turn signals or lights just look out of place. Why they incorporate it in cars when it's legal to have red in back or clear in front is beyond me.

Anyhow, first thing I did was install clear corners on the front bumper, but there's still the orange turn signals in the headlight fixtures. Anyone know if this can be changed?

Also, has anyone done the angel eye mod? I'm thinking about doing it, but not sure it's worth it. Thanks for the help.

ttrank has done angel eyes, u need to take the headlamps out and take the plastic lens off. For the blinkers you need to dremel the orange part out and find some clear lens to replace it with as it is one piece.

The orange/amber color is a safety issue. It's easy to see, even in poor visibility weather. It's also far enough from white or red to the point where it can't be mistaken for another color. I would assume the laws applied here in Hawaii are similar, if not the same in all states. All blue, red, and white blinking lights located in front and/or visible from the front of the vehicle, are reserved for authorized emergency vehicles. Knowing first hand about the consequences of getting a citation and going to court for a similar situation, I would have to say it's not worth it. If you go through with the mod, I suggest using the sylvania bulb that looks blue-ish, but lights up amber.
