I was driving down the highway which had a fair amount of traffic and here comes a set of HID projectors comming up fast. I knew it was a 3 series right off the bat. When he pulled up beside me I saw the side I knew it was a late model M3 by the vents on the side of the car. He slowed down and we were side by side and I started to play with him and do quick surges of speed. Now I hope every one knows M3s will hand us our asses in a heart beat. So I knew this guy thought I was stupid and would be an easy kill. I don't road race either. Once the road cleared ahead, we took off.....well he took off and I stayed a little above the speed limit. I was refreshing to see this dude in the Corrola next to me laughing his *** off. He gave me the thumbs up too. The M3 owner looked like an arrogant *** too. Now he just looks like an ***.

This got me to thinking. It must be truely lonely at the top. Nobody challenges an M3, so he never gets a chance to race. Stock cars don't have a chance unless they are stock super cars or exotics such as Ferrari or Lambos. Do Vettes have a chance? He probably paid over 50 grand for his car and he can't use it like he wants to. Truely sad...

Sounds like you egged the guy on. What exactly did you expect him to do? Stay next to you while you repeatedly sped up and slowed down?

I'm sorry, I failed to mention he was weaving in and out of traffic like a fool and was tailing me close for a while before I did the surging. I was glad to be rid of him. I shouldn't have egged him on, but he got what he wanted, a race that he won.

Maybe I am bias. Even though performance wise the vette owns, but I still prefer the M3 better than any other vettes.

I'm pretty sure G with 7-8 PSI from centrifugal blower can easily compete with new M3.
If only it wouldn't void the warranty a lot of expensive and fast car owners will be up for a big surprise.

 

How about a Mustang Cobra... isn't it faster and over 15K cheaper
