It's actually not too hard, here's Stillen's grouding kit install guide:

And if you really want to go nuts on your auto, check out Stillen's valve body upgrade:

I was hoping someone could help me out in what would be the next best step for performance gain. To date, I have an AEM intake, Magnaflow X Piping exhaust, and Nismo SS R Tuned Headers.
I'm debating on new pulleys, or possibly a fuel controller, keeping in mind that some day I plan on throwing a supercharger on it. Any comments are much appreciated.

The thermal spacer includes a gasket that reduces heatsoak from the engine to the plenum. It is placed undermeath the lower part of the plenum that way the plenum can be cooler for longer, allowing cooler air to enter the engine. The copper plate keeps the trottle body warm enough so the butterfly doesnt ice up and stick. Its best to get the copper thermal space if it snows in your are.
Before you buy a spacer you may want to look in the engine tech area. There's a stickied thread that shows the spacer does NOTHING for Rev-ups without other mods. Motordyne confirms this in the thread. To be clear, auto trans do not have the rev up.
