Hey guys friend of mine got the service records for me

Should i be worried about any of this?

Some quick info about your vehicle.

It is the 199th 2004 G35th ever produced. Given that many early models are testing units, this was one of the first retail units available in 04.

Your car has had a compression rod replaced at 7971 miles, a radio unit replaced at 9462 miles, a steering wheel ***'y replaced at 15101 miles, the G35 brake warranty mod performed at 30296 miles.

In April of 2006, the previous owner got in a dispute with the service dept, and called Infiniti consumer affairs over repairing window noise. Dealer found it was a loose bolt.

Veh in svc date of 5/22/04. Sold at Southwest Infiniti, last serviced at Clear Lake Infiniti.

good deal

I paid $19,500 for my 03 a month ago w/ no nismo body kit. And it had 50K miles on it. I wanted the one I got though b/c it was black on black which was hard to find. I already put about $1,500 in mods into the car though and it looks 10x better than when I bought it. More to come of course

The compression rod is a know issue. The radio isnt a big deal. The steering wheel not sure what to make of that but it doenst sound like anything that would be a deal breaker. And lastly the brakes are a know problem with that year so just get it it sounds like a good deal.

Its not as buttery smooth as my B series hondas were.

But for the past several years i have been driving the VW 1.8t with aftermarket clutch/ lsd/short shifter

Comming from that, it is worlds above. It was so smooth compared to the notchiness of my VW

I talked to a service guy at Infiniti, and he said if hte rod was repaired and no other issues not to worry about it, that they really dont have problems with those cars.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about any of those issues, if it were something like reoccuring electrical failure that would be a different story but that's all minor stuff. As for the smoothness these cars are not quite as refined as some competitors, but they are faster.

Doesn't sound like it had any major issues. Sounds like a good deal. I bought my 04 in similar shape (without Nismo body kit) in December 06 for $18,900...
