I think I'll lower the car for now.

I'm so lost on springs for these cars though. There are too many friggin choices for these cars !!!!!!!!!!!

I want it to look like the car pictured above but I'd prefer to not mess with any caster camber kits. Is that possible ? What springs do you guys suggest ? Somone said S-techs above but aren't those too low and would definately require caster camber kits (front and rear on G35's) ?

IMO find a full 350z revised suspension kit. They go for about $200.

The prokit looks nice. If you lower anymore, you definetly need camber kits.

When I lowered mine, I had it aligned and the tech said it was on the ragged edge. Sure as $hit my rear tires wore out on the inside and I was out $600 for rear tires.

Nothing is cheap

Quote: Maybe lower it for now. when you get the bumper, budget a bit extra to get a clear bras installed on it. I wish i would have put clear bra on my nismo bumper when it was new.

Lower it using unrevised 350z springs. You should be able to find the either here or on my350.com. This will drop the car slightly, but really improve your handling. I bought mine used for 100 dollars.

This is a suspension kit off of a 2004 and up Nissan 350z. The drop should be about 1 inch. Check out my350z forum to see if anyone is selling there. Maybe ebay might have it. There is a difference between the revised and unrevised version. People say that if you get the unrevised springs you have to change out your shocks also. So if you want to save time and money in the future just get the revised version which is 2004 and up.

but in the end wouldnt lowering it be pretty expensive as well because of the camber kits needed especially when your going that low? I would lower because its not that expensive for springs but then i would need a camber kit. Also does lowering it on springs make the ride that much rougher?

Correct. Do you have the sport model? I would change both out just to be safe. Dvatz is selling his set-up. 2007 with only 20 miles on it. That's a killer deal. Check it out: https://g35driver.com/forums/archived-sales/179375-2007-350z-springs-shocks-revised.html

no don't think mine is a sport model.

didn't come with a spoiler or aero kit and had plain 17in 6 spoke wheels.

who has this set up and how does it ride / handle ? I don't even know what a z feels like. I do like the idea of using a factory matched set up like that. Would the car need caster camber kits with the z springs ?
