lower it or Nismo front bumper ??

Since I took these pics I've had the bottom grey plastic painted black and I'm having an 04 truk lid and aero spoiler installed in the next few days.

what do you guys think would be the most improvement ?

I want to either lower it (maybe Eibach pro kit) or get a front Nismo front bumper.

Doing one or the other may be the end of my mods for awhile so which one to do ?

thoughts ?

I have seen tein spec S kits on ebay for $165 shipped.

Nismo kit is like $2000

i believe its $6 or 800 for just the front.

if you lower it that will improve more than just appearance, not to mention the bumper will cost alot more unless you can find a deal....................

Since you painted all lines around the bottom to match, the most visable improvement will be to lower it. Get the bumper in the spring.

Where did you get the 04 lid from?

so you guys think lowering it will make the most improvement on the appearance of the car ? How much do the tein spec S lower the car ?

so damn many choices on springs for these cars.........

Shop I talked to wanted $500 for an Eibach Pro-kit installed including alingment. Sounded about right to me ? I could probably put them in if I was patient. Wonder if that would lower it enough. Hoping to avoid needing any caster camber plates.

I am only thinking of getting a Nismo front bumper not the whole kit. jon! we know you love your nismo kit lol I know the bumper would cost more but I could wait and save a tad more. I expected to pay $700 for it ??

found the trunk lid on ebay but the guys wouldn't ship it so I had to go pick it up 2.5 hours each way

that sounds very steep...you can get the prokit for under $200...install the most about $100...alignment about $60-$80 bucks...

I would align the car after 2-3 weeks when the springs have settled...

install should not be that much for our cars.

I have dont several suspension swaps on civics, and from what i have read our cars are alot easier.

Front is essentially the same, but the rear the spring is separate fromthe shock and can be done pretty easily.

I swore i woudl never do my own suspension swap again after the last time i did one with hand tools, but i just miight try on my G since it looks so simple.

I say lower it. Like they said, it will be the most dramatic mod between it and the bumper. Plus, you vehicle will look much more aggresive. I also would not pay for than $400 for the kit, installation and alignment.

Maybe lower it for now. when you get the bumper, budget a bit extra to get a clear bras installed on it. I wish i would have put clear bra on my nismo bumper when it was new.
