Re: On the Real, we Need a G35 SEDAN MOD Thread!

thats sweet I know for a fact people are moding the sedans we just need to get them to talk about it.
Just before I burned out some dude in a mitsubishi eclipse trying to make an impression on me with his loud @zz speakers
I saw two modded g35 sedans driving together in nyc today and it motivated me to find out about all mods for my ride.

They are talking about it. Look in the Technical & Modification forum mainly, as well as the Tire/Wheel/Suspension forum for mods of that type. A few things get tossed into this board as well.

I went through that forum there is useful things for some people but it's not dedicated towards the sedan, that is what im looking for, straight g35 sedan mods there are many random post there that makes it confusing for a new driver as myself to find the info I need.

Re: On the Real, we Need a G35 SEDAN MOD Thread!

Only thing that's different from the Coupe, would be the exhaust from the Y-pipe back, wheel offset requirements, lowering spring drops/selection(frankly, 350Z spec suspension item's are either a direct bolt on or have superior tuning) and appearance related items. That leaves a enormous about of mods that are the same. Frankly the only thing to add then talking about the 350Z would be the front strut tower bar and the intake (but every manufactuer makes a G version, so mute point).

I can see wanting to be inspired by other sedan owners, but mods, as in learing what you can do, is a class already in session from fellow coupe owners and 350Z owners, and the sedan owners do talk about the things were doing too. Heck if I listened to people, I wouldn't have been the first sedan owner around here to install sway bars or 350Z springs and struts, platform sharing is a good thing ,

DaveO... You and Gurgen (haven't seen him around in a while) appear to be leading the pack on the auto sedan mods. Stuff like the fan conversion and the torque converter just blow my mind. It's cars like yours that keep me coming back to this forum.

Thanks for the positive comments Steve. I, for one, really appreciate you pioneering the Vortec SC for the G35 Sedan. All I can say is WOW! Your success has me re-considering supercharging my Sedan.

I talk with Gurgen at least weekly. He's presently covered up with exams. Earlier this week he found some lost power based on G-Tech comparision runs. His loss of power was driving both of us crazy. Gurgen's also working on another major mod that seems to be real interesting. I'll let him release the details when he's ready.

Re: On the Real, we Need a G35 SEDAN MOD Thread!

Ya know, I heard Gurgen's car take off while at the recent Nor Cal meet (I didn't get to meet him sorry to say). While his exhaust was strangly quite IMO, how his auto trans shifted sure caught my attention. You can definately tell somethings going on .

Re: On the Real, we Need a G35 SEDAN MOD Thread!

Y'know... Not to get too sappy or anything but I also meant to give a tip o' the hat to GSedan35 whose suspension research gave me the courage to install springs myself and basically got me started on the downhill roll of mod addiction.

Thanks, guys, for the insights.
