What color are factory shocks for 05 sedan?

I recently picked up an 05 6MT sedan and have starting the upgrade process. The car came with nice OZ aftermarket rims, a nice 20% tint, and who knows what else? It looks like it has stock ride height, so I recently picked up a used set of 350z springs (unrevised). I wanted tio keep what I thought was the stock shocks. However, I just realized that the shocks are red. This does not seem like a color that factory shocks would be. I haven't taken the wheels off yet, so I don't know much more than that. There is a label on them, but I can not read it without removing the wheels. I am really curious to know what brand these are, and whether I should keep or replace them. Any ideas who makes red shocks?

Thanks

Andrew

They may likely be the stock struts. Idk the brand but the red color indicates the sport tuned suspension. The red shocks come on all of the 2003-05 sport tuned models and the manual models i believe. The 06s didnt have red shocks for the sport model though for some reason.

After trying a different search string ( thanks Radioguy for the sports suspension idea) I was able to find someone selling his OEM suspension. Sure enough, they match. So now I know for sure I have OEM shocks. Here is the thread, with lots more pictures:

They should be Tokico brand, and were pretty decent with the stock springs, but blow out pretty fast with lowering springs.

+1. The sport package comes standard on the 6mt which has red tokico shocks. Also the sports package includes the VLSD.

Wow, this is getting more interesting. It seems that there were maybe a couple different parts suppliers for these shocks. Or they changed part way through the production run.

My 05 6MT had red OE shocks (11/04 build). Sounds like there were indeed a couple different suppliers...

My 06 is also black, my best guess is that late 05 builds and 06's have black shocks.
