I was under thwe impression that it could be done it the fuel tank evaporator canisters were moved. It has been done but minimal info is out there about it, and the threads are so old no pics or reall meaningful information exists. I'd be very interested to do this too If I knew what all was required to do it. I need to look around up under there sometime and talk to an exhaust shop. I think the car would look much meaner with tips on both sides.

To the OP, if you just want the look it would not be that hard to run some pipe and another pair of tips to the other side. They would not work but could be put there. The other problem is that you would not see a muffler on that side.
If you want a real muffler on that side you will need to remove or relocate part of your fuel evap system and have mounts/pipe made. I will need a dual 3" system when I build my motor and that is what I plan to do with a pair of round mufflers and 4" tips.

I know this is rice.
If it is just for looks. You probably won't get much, if any, performance gains with real split duals anyways. Find an old muffler and tip from a member with one sitting around for cheap. Saw/plasma off the back end of the muffler with the tip attached and somehow mechanically attach that small portion of the muffler and tips just behind the bumper on the left side.
You will get: (__OO________OO__), meaner looking than (__O________O__).

Really stupid question.....but I keep reading people reference something being "rice". What does that mean?
