Well today I was at me Inf. Dealer to get some warranty work done (noise from rear axle) and was at 30108 so decided to ask how much for the 30K service. To my surprise I received a quote of a whopping $891.19 He then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to get it done today and I politely said no thanks, after which I called my Nissan dealer and received a quote of $322. What in the hell is the Inf dealer thinking of?????

Oh by the way I got a loaner 07 Auto, it'a pretty quick but I'll stick to my 04 thank you. One thing the Inf dealer said is that my belts were cracked, even if that is the case $891 is nuuuuttttttssss.

 

My clicking sound was corrected per ITB05-0026 whatever that is

 

The only thing I would get done at the dealership is warranty work. Other than that they are Con men. All of them.

A year ago my Infiniti dealership charged me about $344 for the 30K service (no oil change, had the AT transmission fluid replaced but not flushed).

 

It just seems ridiculous to me. I bet if I just do the services individually it won't add up to $891, besides the Nissan dealer will do the same thing for hundreds less, I guess that's the price of owning a premium brand or just being dumb, they will never get $891 out of me for a 30K service.

 

Take it to an independant shop if you are dead set on getting the 30k service. I don't feel that many of the items on the list are worthwhile, so I'll take care of most of it myself.

 

i got my 30k service from an independent (experienced & economical) mechanic, $270 for Auto tran. fluid flush, differential fluid manual flush, mobile1 synthetic oil and filter change and belt, brakes, hinges, lights etc inspected....

 

I got it done today at a Nissan dealer for $260. I asked them not to rotate my tires since I did it last week at my friends house, no engine filter replacement sine I have the JWT pop charger, and I also requested M1 Syn. All done for $266.89
