Hey guys, I've been searching all over and haven't been able to find a diy for how to remove the drivers seat. There's this rattling sound coming from the track and I have no idea what it is and I wanna get the seat out to check it out. Does anyone have any picture diy's on how to remove the drivers seat? I have an 04.5 G35x. Thanks!

 

Take the covers off the brackets at the 4 corners. They just slide or snap off. Remove the 4 bolts. I want to say they are 14 or 17mm.

To take the seat all the way out you will need to unplug the airbag and power wires. Make sure the car is off and the keys are out. If you power up the car with the airbag removed you will get a dash light and need to reset it.

 

does anyone have a photo diy?? I'm not sure which bolts, covers, and wires i'm actually supposed to take off. I'm pretty new at this stuff so photos would be a great help, thanks!

Have you even looked yet? At each end of the rail is a plastic cover. Like Tim said, remove the cover and then remove each bolt under the cover.

The wires are toward the inside of the seat, under each seat. Take a look. Its very easy once you take a look.

 

If you are that worried I would not do it. You should be able to take the seat out with what I gave you. It's 4 bolts...
