what are the factory warranty mileage/years? for the a 05 g35x?
buying a used g35x today with 37000miles.
also what would void a used g35x warranty?

Factory warranty in '05 is 4 years, 60,000 miles bumper to bumper. You may extend this with either a factory or aftermarket extended warranty. I just extended mine for my 05 X because I'm at 55K miles. I was fortunate because I did the extension before I hit 50K miles (in fact at 49.5K) just by a fluke and the number of years or mileage you can add is less after 50K miles. Speak to your dealer, they should be willing to haggle on this. In fact my dealer came in at a lower price than an aftermarket warranty. This way I still get the loaner vehicle until the end of the extension.

 

are you sure the factory warranty is 60000miles/4years? i heard it was 49000/4years? also bumper to bumper does that cover engine/transmission?

In 05 it was definitely 4 years/60000 miles. And yes, the engine and transmission are included in this warranty.

^ Yes it is. I was able to use the basic factory warranty when I purchased the G last year from the previous owner.

Since I have a 04' and the 4year/60k is almost done coming into 08' isn't there a longer powertrain warranty??? I only have 18k miles on it. I wasn't sure and I have no owners manual with the car. It's an 04 G35X... Thank you for your help! Powertrain would inc. all motor and tranny correct??
