Re: G35 Sedan in snow and cold weather
Hard to hook up with winter tires as well as on summer rubber, so the times are a bit lower.
On the dry road today, lots of sand and gravel, -5C (23F), I took 2 runs with my new G-Timer. My 1st run 0-60 was 7.72 and the second 6.93. It's those first 10 to 20 feet that's iffy.
As far as driving normally, the G works well in snow with winter tires and driving to the conditions. Also, keep the VDC on at all times! Starts well even in -40 temps and heats up quite nicely. Oh, and in case there is any question, street racing is never a very good idea, and a definite no-no on unpredictable winter streets!

Re: G35 Sedan in snow and cold weather
ya, I would expect launching a RWD car in freezing weather would be rather difficult, 6.9 seconds is a pretty good run...
how do you time it? With a stopwatch and the speedo, or do you have something more sophisticated?

Re: G35 Sedan in snow and cold weather
I live in Canada and we get a bit of snow here!
I use the factory tires drive normal and get throu snow fine. Never had a problem except the odd heavy heavy snow, it is a slow start. Park indoors usually but it has also had no problems starting and running at -35? My neighbor has a 350 z and can't move. Good luck,
