Does anyone have these white face gauges? I think this comes as whole unit. I know the miles per hour is on the inside, but is the tripometer in miles or KM, does anyone know if this would erase how many miles are on the car now.

I think this is just the face of the gauges, not the entire instrument cluster, isn't that right?

I think the cover is removable (the clear) to access the cluster, not sure how though.

I just checked out the site....
$$604 for overlays???? come on now i dont think anyone is stupid enough to pay that price for a product that would cost about 50 cents to mass produce.. anyway i really think it is the entire cluster. its still not worth it... I mean if your gonna make sumthing like this and stick a 600 price tag on it you have to make it looks alot better then what those idiots at Nissan did when they designed this car... its really not that much better. Sure id pay 100 or so for the overlays, but 600 + installation which in sure would b a bitch.. lets see whos the 1st clown to buy this crap

 

I would have to agree. It seems like there should be an easier way and cheaper way to do this.

Actually its the whole unit not just the face. The Nismo gauge has a higher speed range on the gauge so it actually is the whole unit for wutever the price is.

 

are you sure it has a higher speed range? i think it is just in kilometers per hour, thus the numbers go higher.

From what i have seen, the outside numbers are KPH and on the inside has MPH.

 

I think I remember it goes up to 300km/h. But I definitely remember the speed range is greater even though u are still limited. And it should be the whole unit if I remember correctly.

 

Don't take this as a dig because it isn't, but I find it interesting that there is always someone who wants to change almost every imaginable thing about their car. If the G35 had come with white faced guages there would be some people (maybe even you, sixgearsedan) who would just be jonesing to change them to those "cool" black faced guages. ; )

I personally luv the blackface/orange guages and think they are a much better fit with the rest of the interior....I bought the Graphite interior of course.

 

Yea, your right. I just like to make my car unique from everyone elses. It is probably why I have 3 TV screens, DVD player with 5.1 Dolby Digital sound system, and a 1,000 watt sub woofer that goes BOOOOOM during the action parts of a movie.
