Honestly there's many factors that come into play with wheels road conditions, driving style etc... I'm content with my Axis had them for 2 years and haven't had any problems here in Hawaii the roads aren't the best but not as bad as alot of big city streets. The weather's alway sunny so I don't have to worry about snow, salt etc... This is the ideal location for a set of expensive rims but I'll be pissed if something happened to my 3k+ rims I can live with a bent rim if I paid 1200 to 1500 for rims I rather invest in a nice set of tires, and cast rim that weighs less or equal to what the factory 18" weigh in at. The XIXs weigh 26lbs front and 29lbs rear so they are compariable to my Axis now but in 20" so I'll get the 1pc cast XIXs!

But... I don't recommend getting the cheap light wheels on the market because they are not strong. I have had a wheel crack open when it should have been fine from going over a rock and seen another of the same brand separate the face from the lip (on a 1-pc wheel!).

So in my opinion, if you have the money, do it right and get forged wheels the first time around.

I decided to go with 20" 5zigen Gravis-1 machined silver 20x8.5f and 20x9.5 rear +38f and +45 rear. It's a clean setup little more aggressive than my Milanos but not over the top.

Those are great looking wheels. Not light but very nice! They look huge.

I didn't see it, but from the bump when I hit it, it was maybe a little smaller than my fist.

^ would +38F and +45R work with a BBK? Thinking I'll probably get something to replace the R1 Concept Rotors I have now they are same size as stock and would probably look too small in these 20" they also have these in 18 and 19 inch now black, chrome and the machined silver

XIX look good too though
since he's going 20's it's doubtful weight is a concern... I'm always perplexed by how many people are running 20's lately... I guess looks over performance for some people.

I guess someone brought this back from the dead I brought the 5Zigen Gravis staggard in 20" I was nervous about getting 20" over 19" but in the end I didn't want to regret it later. As far as performance I haven't mounted the rims yet to see if there's a difference.

That's correct I have a silver 05 the pix of the CB is a pix of the exact same rims I ordered I'm buying them 1 at a time due to the cost of shipping a set here to HI I save a lot of $$$ shipping them that way.

they look sweet. More so on the BMW. Personally I wouldn't go overboard with lowering and slam the car on them though.
