hey guys, i was thinking of getting a strut bar soon, but what do you guys think about the current ones on the market?

how do they fair up against each other and if you guys used it, whats you honest opinion?

i was thinking of buying the stillen front that they currently sell but it can only fit the 5/16 spacer i suppose.

then theres the richie strut v2, and the nrg, and the arc strut (but we know i'm not getting that overly priced thing )

which do you guys think is the better buy for the buck?

i'm thinking of getting a 5/6 spacer and mrev2 down the line, but dont know when.

 

my car benfitted from the addition of one - stiffer, more responsive front end + steering

i have the richie V1 which i bought used and re-did in a matte brushed finish - gets lots of praise from those who've seen my engine bay. looks very OE. the design is the same as the NRG and ARC, as they're all replicas of the ARC Ti bar, but at a more reasonable price point.

i'm currently running an MD 5/16 spacer with a Z engine cover and the bar hits nothing at its lowest position. great upgrade IMO...i'd get the richie one in V2

If you want performance you are going to have to spend a lot on a STB. Get good sway bars first and see. I just got mine for looks.

 

yeah, i already know about the sways and stuff, but i'm wondering if anyone has any experience with comparison between the three or four struts out there. I just like how the stillen strut bar looks, and they said it should clear with no problem with a 5/16 spacer and mrev2 as well, so i'm leaning towards that right now. its 205 shipped, and the richie v2 is 225 shipped...what do you guys think?

what's the cheapest front struct bar available?

never saw the point of $250+ strut bars when cheaper alternatives were available.
