I posted about my parents considering a G35x and an Impala. Well, they decided on a wonderful new G35 in Desert Platinum, with the premium package. Now the long period of break-in begins.

dont worry about break in.drive it hard.engines that are driven hard actually run better and produce more hp.

Cool, I hope that "they" bought it, no doubt you'll look cool driving it. Look after it, run it in - I dont buy the stuff about hard abuse - and enjoy

 

The engine can probably take the abuse, but there are many other components in the drivetrain and other parts of the car that do better if you take it easy at the start.

 

I had the opportunity to put a hundred miles or so on a G35x over the weekend. I was very impressed. Enjoy it. I know I will.
