Greddy evo2 or HKS w/ coupe mid?

so the dealer said i hit something "big" and the exhuast needs to be fix...to replace it with an exhaust system from factory would cost 2,200 not including any labor charge....so.......

Borla and Stillen are just too expensive for a student like meeh...

BUMP for Greddy Evo2! I love mine, no complaints and it's NOT as loud as some people say it would be.

The HKS/middy set up is good also, my second choice if I didnt get the Greddy.

Not alot of poeple that post up have the Greddy so you are probably going to get alot of HKS FTW responses. HKS with the middy does sound good though. That's what I have on mine right now.

How much is the Greddy? I have seen the Borla for ~$750-800 shipped. I paid in that range for mine.

i heard the greddy exhaust sits in too much and not flush to the bumper so it won't look good...just something that you should consider when you decide

Yea, I think the Greddy is louder than the HKS/middy, from what I heard on the forums. TOO BAD there arent enough Sedans out there to compare. DOFU has an HKS and his sounded louder than my Greddy but also he has pipes and heads so that dont count.

Confirmed, unless you get a muffler shop or pro to make it sit closer to the bumper using a different mount.

BUT gotta tell you IMO that it STILL looks good, if you need proof, check the link on my signature.

I'm only going to have a drink or two...since I have no DD. I'll remember...at least what it sounds like...I don't know if I'll remember to ask

So, ill have another opinion on what it sounds like in person (ill make sure I follow up on this unlike I did for the borla exhaust) and post my opinion the next day.

Rol, I have the HKS and middy so we can compare as well.

Sounds like a plan man! Maybe we can post the feedback on here after the meet? Both sober and inebriated opinions.

Just out of curiousity, since nobody else asked, what parts do you have to replace after your incident? (Just wondering what the stealership is telling you costs a total of $2,200....I'm hoping it's the Y-pipe, mid-pipe AND rear muffler for that price....though, how the hell can you hit something that F's ALL of those parts up?

BTW - love my coupe middy with HKS rear muffler
