Re: G 35 Gas Mileage

Is your 6MT and 5AT?? I bet its a 6MT

I am seeing that everyone with a 6MT is getting around 18-20mpg in the city and 22-25mpg on hwy

Where as us poor folks with 5AT are getting 15-17mpg in the city and 19-21mpg on hwy.

I think manual vs. auto make for a big difference in addition to of course other thing already pointed out like additives i.e MTBE or cold weather etc.

Re: G 35 Gas Mileage

Update: So after I reset my ECU after my HG-wire install. My gas got back up over 19. Looks like that did the trick. However, I cannot honestly say if the Stillen CAI + Z-tube or the Hyperground wires provided more benefit. Though, I'm very happy with my mods.

Re: G 35 Gas Mileage

only have 3500 miles on car. started first 2 tank fulls at about 20 mpg with 50/50 city/highway. now have progressed to 23.5 mpg for same driving. i stomp on it through first 3-4 gears and drive about 75 mph on highway. but i use all 6 gears whenever i am driving above 35 - 40mph in city conditions. all these things plus the gas you use and the outside temp affect mileage. i use 93 octane premium as well which also makes a difference in the mpg.

Re: G 35 Gas Mileage

Have about 900 miles so far, just filled up half my tank. Got 20mpg. 6mt. Although I'm still in the break in, I've been driving a bit more aggressive going up to 5k rpm. Waiting til after 1200 miles to install grounding gear, z-tube, and pop charger. Currently installed Nismo Titanium shift ****, and rear mirror Passport 8500 mounted
