Battery problem?

Battery problem?

Hi guys,

My 03 sedan has not replace the battery yet, recently when i start my car, my RPM will drop to zero and card will stall, so i have to start it again, sometimes i have to to do it couple of times before the car will start, but after it start everything is normal.... does anybody have this problem? does it sound like i need a new battery, i havent change it since i got it in Aug of 03... any advice?

That doesn't sound like the battery to me. If your battery was too low it would not start at all.

It might be the battery. I've had that happen to me on my '97 pathfinder. The car started, and I backed up out of my parking lot, and the car died on me and it wouldn't start up. So I jumped the battery, drove about 50 ft. and the car died again. Jumped it once more, and had barely enough juice to back up the car into a different parking spot so I can go buy new batteries. If the battery hasn't been changed once for 4 years, it wouldn't hurt to try new ones~
