Back from the dealer

so i picked up my 04 g35x this morning and retuned the 07 g35x loaner. i officially hate my car. i think the dealer did that on purpose. my car feels like a slug compared to the 07. i need more power...lol. anyway.....thumbs up to infiniti of ardmore....great job on the car and they did tons of extra work and didnt charge me a dime. the 07 is definately a different animal. revs much faster, shifts faster, interior is way more advanced. oh well.....gotta drive mine till i can afford the new one.

my 06 is at the dealer right now getting an oil change / tire rotation (i have a coupon) and getting some warranty items looked at. I got a 07 base sedan as a loaner and right off the bat I like the seats. The interior metal finish I like better on the 05-06, but the lcd screen is nice to have. I also though the throttle didn't respond as fast, especially off the line. Maybe the 06 throttle is just touchy and I'm used to it. I also thought that the 07 downshifted weird when coming to a stop.

^ I agree with the throttle response on the '07 loaner. I had one the other day, and I noticed that the first thing when I drove out of the dealership. Out of curiosity I checked the oil on the dipstick, and it looked almost black and very dirty. Makes sense when the loaner is beat to death after 12K miles and not one oil change was done to the car, hence affecting the acceleration of the loaner

well the one I drove only had 2400 miles on it. I think it's the way the ECU control the throttle. I guess enough soccer moms complained that it was too touchy. Also, what is DS mode? If you put it into manual mode is still shifts for you. WTF?
