welcome to the forum.

Is it for weight or looks? the stock hook is aluminum and is pretty lite. You won't save much.

I know that several people have had issues with CF hoods cracking and such. So make sure you check into durability if you find one.

pretty sure the only one that is made is the stillen one. but the weight reduction is only ~3-4 pounds.

Yes the main one is the Stillen. Unless they have come out with one for the 05/06 sedan recently they only have one that fits the 03/04. I had it for about a year on my car. It has a cowl shape in it for their SC to fit.

M@rCo is right and it only weighs a little less than the oem one.

I have seen places on ebay say that they are selling an oem style one for the sedan but never looked into it any more. I would never buy a random brand CF hood on ebay.

Here is what the Stillen one looks like. It was full CF, I just painted it like that to help it blend with the car more.

Not hosted. I hated how it looked without paint. Too out of place.

That's what I figured. Why did you take it off?

Good question. I loved that hood and wanted to keep it. Because of my dual intakes behind the grille it took more pressure to latch the hood. So the best way was to drop it from a little higher. Well a friend closed it and pushed down on the center too hard leaving a ~14" round crack in the resin. Since it was in the CF part and not the painted part it would have had to be painted after repair. So he paid me for it and I just put my stock one back on.
