Individual fog lamps that aren't integrated into the headlights. I like the four-light effect of a nice set of HIDS with corresponding fog-lights!

I would change...the manufacturer.

Just kidding...I liked what Lawboy05 said about the fog lights being HID. I would also put a handle above the drivers door rather than the card holder.
Fold down rear seats would be a great convenience.

Since I have the X model these are the changes I would like to see:

1) MT for X (this is by far the most important of all)
2) Options for wider wheel and lower suspension...Infiniti treats the X models with minimal options
3) Replace the dash lights to blue/white...amber is too generic
4) My X (black) does not come with metallic
5) Power seat buttons should be on the side

That's all I can think of for now

Front passenger head-restraints could be more lexus like...rather than flat board-like. Anyone know the rating of the head restraints?

Man, If I could change anything, it would hands down be the exhaust! I mean I love the coupe exhaust and to tell you coupe guys the truth, I almost get jealous everytime I hear one of your cars fly by me with that insane exhaust! I know somebody else said this but why did Infiniti go so weak with the sedan exhaust?!!

Dual exhaust pipes would give it a more agressive look

Yes, I STRONGLY agree with that. Even the altima 3.5 and all maxima's get dual exhaust but our more upscale G35 sedan doesn't get it. I DON'T GET IT!

Hell yeah with the dual exhaust. Dual exhaust is just so much more pleasing to the eye and makes the car look more respectable in the performance department IMO.

Two other things I would like to see are redesigned tail lights and a rear spoiler instead of cosmetic wing. I like the 05 taillights but it would be better with actual round lenses kinda like the R34. It would also be better with amber turn signals. I don't really care for the stock rear wing because it looks big and useless. A lip spoiler that sticks a little off the back would rock.

Make it just a tad wider. I've always felt the sedan looked a little too narrow and tall from behind.

Yes, it does look a big narrow and tall. I wish my X's emergency brake is the handle type and not the stupid foot pedal.

i) Change the oil dipstick...has to be the worst I have ever seen, cheap and hard to reseat even in daylight.
ii) Improve the sound insulation in the trunk and wheelwells. (FYI... the 2005 G35X has much better quality insulation than the 2005 RWD sedan. The G35X uses a black rubber mat looking type, the RWD is a white paper diaper looking type.)
iii) Add an equalizer feature to the stereo. I noticed my MP3's had much better quality than the FM radio.
iv) Add a playlist feature to the stereo
v) Change the default sales packages. Yanks get choice of 5 packages (I think) but still can't order LakeshoreSlate/Graphite...Canucks get only 3 packages to choose...and we can't just order just 18" wheels, or just the sport suspension.
vi) HID hi-beams would be nice, but this may not work with the mandatory daytime running lights we have here.
vii) it would be nice to be able to actually see the washer-fluid level.
viii) new cars should come with the engine bay cover for the brake side, not just the battery.

BMW puts 255 rear and 225 front on their M3 and I've heard of people putting 295 on their rears with no problems. Just wondering why you would make this comment? Personally I wouldn't put on tires any bigger than the M3 set for threereasons 1. if a more power car doesn't need them 2. due to the demand for aftermarket replacements for the M3 this set up has lower cost tires than other simialr sizes 3. weight

I love mine so far, but the only thing that I'm not crazy about is moving the shifter to manual in the 5AT puts the lever farther from the steering wheel. In manual mode, it needs to be closer, so my hand doesn't have to travel as far from the wheel to the stick.

I know, a 6MT would be better, but I have to commute in traffic, and didn't want to be punching a clutch all the time. Call me lazy :-)
