SET light flashed and now Cruise control not working

I called the dealer and asked if there was anything I could check before bringing it in. They said there is a laser somewhere in the front bumper area that measures road speed and to see if it was dirty. Anyone have experience with this and if so do you know where the laser is located. My search revealed some cruise issues when the ECU gets damp but that is not the case for me.
Thanks

Found the problem - clutch pedal not returning all the way

I noticed on the drive home that the clutch pedal seemed low a few times and I could pull it up with my foot. When I did this the cruise worked fine. I adjusted the clevis out a couple of turns and everything works fine except now I'm back to the incredibly long clutch throw.

not on the G. Infiniti has laser controlled cruise control, but not on the G.

BTW, I have had this flashing "set" on my cruise control. it has happened twice and I have no idea why it happened or why it started working again.

+1

I have also had this problem twice. Both times it was in the heavy rain and went away on a power cycle.

This happened to me tonight so I pulled over and turned the car off and turned it back on and the problem was still there. Anyone know how to fix it?
