Please welcome a new member I just love the car, however it is a rattle feast.

2005 G35 with AERO package

Couple of questions:

1) Infamous rattle problem. No 1 area is rearview mirror. Can I fix it through warranty? Or a simple DYI fix?

2) Can I possibly mount a 16 inch winter rims/tires? Will it fit, or I have to resort to 17's?

2) yes as long as you don't get larger brakes they should fit fine

 

1) Be sure it's not the sunglasses holder next to the mirror. I had a rattle for quite a while, and feel like an idiot, because it was the sunglasses I put in there....now I no longer use that.

2) Absolutely. My last winter setup I had was 16" steel rims w/ snows....couldn't deal w/ that setup any more...drove me nuts looks-wise.

 

What color did you choose? Welcome.

 

1.all the rattles can be fixed under warranty... they may replace the entire mirror... make sure they drive the car to make sure that’s where the rattle is coming from...

2. Yes you can fit 16's as long as you don’t have a BBK (Big Brake Kit) like ttrank said
