richie's strut bar installed

So far so good. Haven't really tested it out yet.

no issues on a 2003.0 sedan.

Looks great!!!

Driving impressions? I was thinking of getting the same one since it fits with a MD 5/16 spacer and stock engine cover supposedly.

I have a 5/16 spacer installed, with the stock engine cover.

Clears it just fine.

I can't really comment on the driving part yet, I'll have to drive with it on some more.

What do you guys think about the upgrade? Is it worth it? How does your car handle after the mod?

I didn't notice much with mine. IMO it is more of a mod for looks.

In order to feel the difference of a strut bar you really need to push the car hard. With regular city driving I highly doubt you will feel any. The strut bar might be better for the X.

Push the car hard? Why would I wanna do that? Other bars (VRT) seem to have a more enthusiastic response from people, but isn't the Richie the only one to clear the cover and spacer? Last time I did a bar (on my Maxima) the effect I got was a little less 'dipping' into corners and a more precise/direct steering feel. Are you guys feeling anything similar?

To me, the biggest handling benefit install on my car were the tokico d-specs. That made the car night and day along with sway bars.

There is a more direct feel, but only a small improvement.

That's true. I didn't take my car on another mountain run until I did the strut bar and coilovers (from springs) so I didn't do a good evaluation.

Ah man, I wish mine came polished from the first buy. I went through a lot of work to wrap it in CF but would have left it alone if it came polished.
