nav compartment
It is pretty easy, make sure to get all the srews and you will need to pull hard on it to full it out. Should snap in and out. does your old one have the Nav DVD, I just did the oem swap wanted to see how the dvd player was mounted. post some pics if you can
hate to bump an old thread but i just bought an '03 sedan that has the same problems. searched around the forums and this is all i could find. any fixes to this? how the heck do you get the upper glove box off? i removed all the screws but i still couldnt figure out how to remove the lid so i could fix it.
any ideas/help?
any ideas/help?
Wow - i thought it was just me, but apparently it's everyone. I have an 03 too and would be interested in a solution. Honestly wish I didn't have the navi, because it's outdated and awful to use. Anyone know how to turn off the auto disable feature while the car is in motion?
if it was my G, i would glue it back down, but with sum silicone glue, mainly because its good in high heat and it doesn't expand in the dryin process. Or of course you can use fabric glue, but it can be a lil messy and semi expensive for that one spot.
yeah thats what i was thinking of doing, but i can figure out how to get the lid off. it seems like i have to remove the whole damn dash!!! or am i missing something?
who's making it a big deal? im just asking for advice on how to remove it. i tried removing all the visible screws and still nothing, which is why i bumped this thread hoping somebody could share some light on the subject. sorry it bothered you so much
Was thinking about using this spray on adhesive stuff by 3M.. Its used for headliners
