It is pretty easy, make sure to get all the srews and you will need to pull hard on it to full it out. Should snap in and out. does your old one have the Nav DVD, I just did the oem swap wanted to see how the dvd player was mounted. post some pics if you can

Wow - i thought it was just me, but apparently it's everyone. I have an 03 too and would be interested in a solution. Honestly wish I didn't have the navi, because it's outdated and awful to use. Anyone know how to turn off the auto disable feature while the car is in motion?

if it was my G, i would glue it back down, but with sum silicone glue, mainly because its good in high heat and it doesn't expand in the dryin process. Or of course you can use fabric glue, but it can be a lil messy and semi expensive for that one spot.

should be able to take it out pretty easy and glue it

why are you guys making it such a big deal?

there may be a few screws and maybe some clips

Looking at that pic....the box on my 06 is not the same. The texture is completely different than the one in the pic.

And no it's not lifting either.

Anyone fix this on their G yet? If so, what you use? I want to glue mine down but not sure of what to use or if I should just get another one out of a junk yard or something.
