Puddle Lights (rice or not)
That's borderline rice. I can see where you are going with it, but at the same time I get this nagging question..."Why?"
It seems more to show off than be functional...which is okay in some circumstances, but I'm just not feeling it.
And I think you're asking too cause you're on the fence. Ultimately your call though...good luck!

i will try to get a local shop here to give me a test fitment. Regarding wiring, saw this:

The puddle lights have two wires and I assume they have to tap into the panel like the above pic. Would it be safe since they puddle lights are 12v?

I think they look good. You can't just plug them into any 12V source, they would need to be plugged into the cabin lighting circuit so they only come on when the cabin lights are on. You should only need one wire from the harness and the other goes to ground.

not sure im going that route..there are brackets you can get to install with them....I think i may take that route...I am going to order the CCFL tubes to install on the interior!

for me the only issue with brackets is the puddle light will be outside so prone to getting hit if there is road debris. If they are drilled and sunken into the side skirt, only the light lens is prone to damage.
