Replica Rims

I have an 03' G Sedan with the 17" 6 spoke rims and just put winters on them (upstate Ny) I was thinking about getting a second set of rims for summer tires and just switching out each season. My question is that I found what appears to be a decent set replica 10 spoke wheels on Ebay anyone have experience with these? Ebay Store: OE Wheels

I put a set of those on my girls G35x a few months ago and they have been perfect (different color though). My experience tells me some on these boards will slam you for not spending $3,000 on rims though. But serioulsy who FN cares they look great to me.

car has since been lowered

I'm with you 68GT. Those rims look great and you got them at good price. I actually lucked out and got some used oem 18's with good tires for $500.

You should be able to pick up some used OEMs for that price. They won't be painted like those but you could probably get that done or powder coated for a bit more and wind up with a better quality rim. OEMs can take a beatin

I got my coupe wheels with decent used tires for $800 from e-bay too.

I don't understand the argument of lack of quality with replica wheels honestly. I have said before that I had replica wheels on my 2000 GT Mustang which had 315/40 R 17 Nitto drag radials wrapped on them and the wheels held up flawlessly under 600 rear wheel torque made at 2,800 rpms. 2.2L Kenne Bell supercharged instant full boost on drag radials and dumping the clutch with a SPEC stage 3 clutch and a fully built rear end. The wheels also held up to 708 rear wheel horsepower with a different blower. The car got sideways w/o using the clutch at 70mph and the replica wheels remained perfect. Even at +150 mph

As I said some will bash because they're not expensive. If you want a good deal and like them get 'em. You may however get a better package deal on some used take off wheels / tires.

here's my proof - these are not factory wheels.... I used to be 68 & 00 GT until my bitch x wife jacked me in a divorce. Now I'm just 68 GT

IMO the replicas wheels have a better lip, off set, and available colors. And they're bran new.

I would have got them staggered too (which is available) if this G was not an X.

I forget the numbers but you saw them on in the pics above. They are not as close to the fender as my coupe wheels are on my G.

Sorry, I meant the offsets for the 18 inch G35 replicas.

The replicas on your Mustang look good too. You would never know they were not OEM.
