it says REAL CARBON FIBER BATTERY COVEr - even on the invoice. Like i said even the seller told me that when I q'd them.

I saw the 3m part and THAT IS WHY I ASKED THEM IF IT WAS REAL!

So fact is, they lied to me. When it comes to my car and esp my hard earned money, I research beforehand - so when I get screwed I really won't back down. Ive already emailed them about it so will update you guys.

filing a claim with ebay won't get you anywhere, as the item description was clear enough. unless the seller takes the item back (you'll probably lose shipping), your only choice is to resell it yourself.

 

everyone know those are overlays.....just like the carbon fiber dash kits. those things have been around for years.

You know how you get those mouse pads with gel in them - translucent ones - well it looks just like that. It has that CF look but I doubt its CF. That more pisses me off.

looks cabon fiber but def. not grade A carbon fiber. But if i were u i would not go through the hassle and just put it on the car.....people not gonna b able to c cuz ur hood iz going to b shut anyways..as long as next day u open ur hood and that carbon fiber does not melt with the engine heat

 

yes, thats 100% carbon fiber. did you really expect 2 new battery covers made from carbon fiber for 60$?

too bad there is nothing decieving in that ad. you read into it what you wanted.

best case is to just resell on ebay. you arent the only one that bought those things, so theres definately a market for them. i bet you'd sell them in 1 day on the marketplace.

 

What did you expect? Those look a lot like the UTR overlays I have. They are real CF. The auction is legit. If you look at the pics you can see the covers under them.

All in all I think you got a good deal.
