setting up a nice private deal for 4 winter steelies with mounted 215/55/17 Graspics with almost no wear. only thing is the guy isn't the original owner: he says they came from a G but isn't sure. (he bought them sight unseen and they didn't fit his car)

is there anything on the rim itself that i can check to be sure they're right for my G? i want to be 100% before i drop 700$....

If he's local, do a test fit.

 

He is and we're going to meet tomorrow. If I can get the wheel on, am I ok? Or should I actually drive with it?...

 

Check the back side of the wheel. With any luck it will have size and offset. It won't have the center bore size but that is easy, it fits or not.
