Second, man you are gonna get alot of fix-it tickets. You better make sure all of your other mods are smog compliant or you are going to be sent to a referee.

its pretty much a custom bent 2.5" aircraft grade steel bent strait pipe to a single canister titainium flame tip muffler (brand is wickedflow). never heard of them but my perf exhaust guy recomended it and vouched if i didnt like it he would replace it with somthing and credit me the cost of this muffler. whole set up paid 500 out the door. watched the guy bend pipe for fitment exactly how i wanted it and he bent the pipe to meet that(i held the muffler in place at the angle and amout sticking out). minimum welds and tested with stethescope for no leaks. oh yeah and tig welded... anything else?

my exhaust is compliant with california state smogg law, and "too loud" is up to officers discression (i have gotten them before on my turbo eclipse that wasnt california smogg legal with 2.5" downpipe no cats and 2.5" all the way back). they didnt check smogg when i went to court, i just put a fake stock looking muffler on with all the illegal **** still in there, and got it signed off at the court. i work with the wife of the police cheif so i think i can get them signed off if i really needed to now wihtout having to do fabrication again.

There is a difference in the brackets on the muffler. The 05-06 has one running parallel with the exhaust tips, and one behind the muffler going sideways. But that can be fixed by purchasing a bracket for the other car.
