That muffler might be EXACTLY what I was looking for. Was going to do the megan rear section but I like the looks of this one. Any idea how big the tips are on that thing? It didnt say on the website.
Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I'll measure it tomorrow morning and report back.

Low budget muffler

I have a fairly low budget and i was wondering what the best muffler would be (sound wise) for an 04 g35X

That is a fairly opn question. Everyone has their own opinion. I have been real happy with my HKS rear section. I bought mine used along with the Coupe midpipe for like 400. New just the rear is around 4 to 5.

Does anyone know if a flowmaster 80series muffler will fit an 04 g35 sedan?

It's probably not much but I love it, I got a new custom exhaust done by SS Motorsports in Simi Valley, and we put a magneflow muffler in the middle to a Y pipe, moved the HVAC can into my trunk and put dual tips on each end. So four tips for my '06 G35. I thought it looked so uneven with dual tips just on one side. It sounds real good too, when I want it loud it's loud, but just cruising it's quiet

That's what I wanna do with my Sebring muffler, run dual ones, but I need trunk space for my audio.

Yeah I put a muffler in the middle but AFTER the Y pipe, then two pipes from the dual outlets of the muffler, one on either side of the car.

We just mounted the evap to the side of the car, still under it but now sitting vertical instead of horizontal. It made enough room for the pipe on the right side no problem. There was never any need to go through the trouble of putting stuff in the trunk, not sure why people do it. If you want a muffler in that spot, you need to move the evap completely out of the way, but if you don't, there's no need.

I love the dual exhaust look, but I'm thinking of getting the tips a bit bigger to fill the spaces more. Other than that I love it and love the sound. The video I took of it on my camera just doesn't do it justice, and i've been told that as well, it sounds 10X better in person. I'll have to try and get a new video of it with an actual mic, not the piece of crap one on a digital cam lol.

Playa, the way you mounted the evap box vertically, did it affect clearance, such that it made it lower to the ground?
