Lately, when I tilt my sunroof open, the motor and movement of the glass sort of shutter a bit..almost like the gears are slipping. The headliner around the glass frame also vibrates some. Anyone else experienced this and/or had to have it fixed?

 

Nope. Mine is nice and smooth. I haven't heard anyone mention this problem on the board. I'd suggest scheduling an appointment with you dealer to have them check it out before the gears strip completely and you have a stuck-open sunroof in the rain.

 

There's a TSB on resetting the sunroofs memory.

And I didn't remember that I had a sunroof that opened! We've been more involved with heated seats, climate control for HEAT, etc. here in the northeast. Just dreaming of the days when I can start figuring out how the sunroof opens, how to make the windows go down, how to turn the AC on... But spring is in the air here and hope springs eternal!
