This is so annoying, I have a 04 g35x and my trunk is rattling or whatever back there when I play any music because it has bass. I dont want to pay all that money and dynamat my trunk. What else is there that people really liked and worked? I know there are sprays, but does that really work like dynamat? The sound sounds so crappy in the rear when all it does is rattle.

 

There are similar products to Dynamat, such as Brown Bread, Fat Mat, and Rammat.

 

Having a sedan the first thing I would look into is using expanding foam in the gap on the trunk lid.

Next is the wing. (If you have one) I used a small pc of foam on my LED and got rid of a lot.

Then some kind of mat for the rest.

 

so i would take off the carpet piece on the lid and then spray the foam onto the metal? The brake light led? What do you mean mat?
