Whining noise from engine

I notice that on rainy days, I get a whiny noise coming from the belts/pulleys. Also, I hear a mild screeching noise under acceleration. Anyone else experience this on rainy days?

Sounds like your belts could be getting old or loose. May just need adjusted a little.

Thanks ttrank...I'll have my mechanic look at it next time I take it in for a oil change.
